The Suns are reportedly weighing the idea of a buyout for the star shooting guard, which would allow him to hit the open market and choose his next destination.

With a breakup looking more and more likely, teams are lining up for the services of the former NBA scoring champ.

NBA insider Jake Fischer reported Tuesday that the Clippers, Lakers, Bucks, Timberwolves and Warriors are suitors for Beal.

As the rumor mill churns, DraftKings Sportsbook oddsmakers have established a clear favorite should Beal become a free agent.

The Clippers are the favorites to bring in Beal after trading shooting guard Norman Powell to the Heat in a three-team deal that brought John Collins to Los Angeles.

The Bucks and Heat, who are both in dire need of some backcourt scoring, are tied with the second-best odds to acquire the three-time NBA All-Star.

The forever star-hunting Lakers have the fourth-best odds.

Vegas bookies aren’t completely ruling out the possibility that Beal stays in the desert.

Beal has repeatedly expressed his desire to stay with the Suns despite a disappointing two seasons with the team since being acquired from the Wizards.

Betting on the NBA?

Beal has averaged 17.6 points with Phoenix, while the team has won just one playoff series.

The 31-year-old has been in and out of the lineup since having a career year in 2020-21 when he averaged a career-best 31.3 points per game, playing in fewer than 60 games in each of the past four seasons.
