Chris Martin and Sophie Turner have reportedly gone on multiple dates

Chris Martin is seeing “Sparks” with Sophie Turner.

The Coldplay frontman, 48, and the actress, 29, have gone on multiple dates as they are both moving on from previous relationships, according to an insider.

“They have gone out on a few dates in London,” the source told Us Weekly Monday. “It is still very new, but they have a lot of chemistry, and there’s a definite spark between them.”

“They have a lot in common, and Chris is definitely her type,” they continued. “They have bonded over being British and their love for music.”

The insider added that to duo first “met years ago in passing” — while Turner was still married to Joe Jonas — because they had “mutual friends in the music industry.” 

“It was always friendly,” the insider noted. “Sophie has always admired Chris and was a big fan of both him and his music long before they ever met.”

“She’s even joked that she used to have a bit of a crush on him, so it’s funny and surreal that they actually connected in a romantic way in real life.”

Both Martin and Turner are newly single following longterm relationships. Turner reportedly ended her two year on-again, off-again relationship with Peregrine Pearson for good in late September.

According to Daily Mail, Turner and Pearson a British aristocrat, split after attending a high-society wedding together where they were seen “bickering and arguing between feverish snogs on the dance floor.”

A week later, Turner and Martin reportedly went on a “secret date,” and it wasn’t their last.

Turner and Pearson, 31, were first linked in October 2023 when they were caught making out one month after Jonas filed for divorce after four years of marriage.

They appeared to split in April after Turner unfollowed Pearson on Instagram and shared a cryptic post but by late June they were back on and were spotted being openly affectionate while attending Glastonbury.

As for Martin, news broke in June that he and Dakota Johnson broke up for good after nearly 8 years together and an engagement.

He was previously married to Gwyneth Paltrow, with whom he shares two children with: Apple, 21, and Moses, 19.

Turner is also a mother of two. She shares daughters Willa, 5, and Delphine, 3, with Jonas.

A resurfaced clip of the “Game of Thrones” star confirms her longtime admiration for Martin.

In the 2020 video, Turner’s then husband, Jonas, 36, handed his wife a phone as he told her, “I have someone who wants to say ‘happy birthday.’”

As Turner received the phone, her face lit up in excitement as she yelled out, “Chris Martin!”

After the “Fix You” hitmaker finished giving Turner his warm birthday wishes, she made sure to blow him a kiss through the phone.
