Sources told People and TMZ on Sunday that Allman, 48, was discharged from the California medical facility that he was brought to on June 14.

Allman was reportedly released “mid-week” and is now recovering at home.

The Post has reached out to Cher’s rep for comment.

Allman was rushed to the hospital after reportedly overdosing in Joshua Tree, Calif.

Authorities told People that Allman was “acting erratically” at his residence. Police also claimed that they found drugs inside the home.

TMZ reported that Allman was “lucky to have survived.”

After the incident, Allman’s estranged wife, Marieangela King, released a statement where she addressed the musician’s addiction struggles.

“While it is true that Elijah has faced personal challenges in the past, one constant has been his unwavering commitment to sobriety and his loyalty to those he loves,” said King, 37.

She added that Allman “continues to confront his inner struggles” but he “remains grounded, focused and deeply committed to living with integrity and purpose.”

Allman was married to King for 11 years before she filed for divorce in April. According to the court documents, King listed their date of separation as March 31, 2025 and requested $6K per month in temporary spousal support.

The split occurred after Cher, 79, filed for conservatorship over Elijah in 2023 and claimed he could not “substantially manage his own financial resources” because of “severe mental health and substance abuse issues.”

The “Believe” singer also claimed that King was a bad influence on her son and actively worked against her efforts to get him help.

King, for her part, accused Cher of hiring four men to kidnap Allman to send him to a rehab facility, which Cher denied.

Cher later dismissed the conservatorship case in September 2024.

Allman, whose father was the late Southern rock star Gregg Allman, started using drugs at age 11.

“[Heroin] kind of saved me,” he told Entertainment Tonight in 2014. “If I didn’t have that at that point, I don’t know what I would have done.”

Allman also said that he’s had “some close calls and some moments of really feeling at the edge of mortality.”
