“When people say ‘sex with men,’ you immediately think of, like, butt sex. Sorry to be graphic, but that’s kind of where the mind goes, right?” Sheen said on Wednesday’s episode of “In Depth with Grant Bensinger.”
The “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” actor said, “it wasn’t that.”
Sheen, 60, who has famously struggled with substance abuse, has been married three times: to Donna Peele from 1995 to 1996, to Denise Richards, 54, from 2002 to 2006, and to Brooke Mueller, from 2008 to 2011.
He has five kids: Cassandra, 40, who he shares with his high school girlfriend Paula Profit, daughters Sami, 21, and Lola, 20, who he shares with Richards, and twins Bob and Max, 17, who he shares with Mueller.
“I don’t want to be like, ‘Okay, I did this thing, but this and that part of it didn’t happen.’ But it didn’t,” the “Two and a Half Men” actor continued.
“I don’t know that that matters, but that’s the only part of it that I’m like, it wasn’t full-fledged, man… They say you experiment in college, you know? I never went to college, so maybe that explains it.”
Sheen said that he wasn’t clarifying his comments because of a “shame” thing.
“It’s just kind of like a, ‘Huh, [sex with men] is a bit of a broad category.”
In his Netflix doc, the “Red Dawn” actor said that going public with this information felt “f—ing liberating.”
“It’s like a train didn’t come through the side of the restaurant. A f—ing piano didn’t fall out of the sky. No one ran into the room and shot me… I’m not going to run from my past, or let it own me,” he said.
“So what? Some of it was weird. A lot of it was f—ing fun, and life goes on,” he continued. “Look at the state of the f—ing world… This, the other side of that menu really f—ing matters? If someone doesn’t want to hire me because ‘he did all that s–t’? Whatever, didn’t want to work with you anyway.”
