Cassie Ventura shares fears Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs will come after her in emotional letter ahead of sentencing
Casandra “Cassie” Ventura shared her fears that her ex Sean “Diddy” Combs will come after her in an emotional letter ahead of his sentencing.
The “Me & U” singer, who testified in Combs’ sex trafficking trial, pleaded for Judge Arun Subramanian to render a sentence that reflects “the reality of the evidence and my lived experience as a victim,” according to a three-page impact statement submitted to a New York Court on Monday and obtained by Page Six.

“I still have nightmares and flashbacks on a regular, everyday basis, and continue to require psychological care to cope with my past,” she wrote, referencing the abuse she allegedly endured during their 11-year-long relationship.
“My worries that Sean Combs or his associates will come after me and my family is my reality. I have in fact moved my family out of the New York area and am keeping as private and quiet as I possibly can because I am so scared that if he walks free, his first actions will be swift retribution towards me and others who spoke up about his abuse at trial,” Ventura, 39, added.
“As much progress as I have made in recovering from his abuse, I remain very much afraid of what he is capable of and the malice he undoubtedly harbors towards me for having the bravery to tell the truth.”
In the letter, the “Long Way 2 Go” songstress recalled the alleged abuse and “forced” sexual acts she endured while she was dating the Bad Boy Records founder, 55, from 2007 to 2018.
“Over the nearly eleven years we were together, Sean Combs would hit me, punch me, stomp on my face, pull my hair, and throw my body to the ground and against the wall,” she claimed.
“The jury saw pictures of bruises on my back from Combs kicking me and saw the deep gash over my eye he caused when he slammed me into a bed frame,” Ventura continued.
“The entire courtroom watched actual footage of Combs kicking and beating me as I tried to run away from a freak off in 2016. People watched this footage dozens of times, seeing my body thrown to the ground, my hands over my head, curled into a fetal position to shield me from the worst blows.”
The model said she used drugs to “push through the horrifying sex acts he demanded and to numb myself to the physical pain and emotional turmoil I was constantly in.”
“While the defense attorneys at trial suggested that my time with Combs was akin to a ‘great modern love story,’ nothing could be further from the truth,” she penned.
“Nothing about this story is great, modern, or loving—this was a horrific decade of my life stained by abuse, violence, forced sex, and degradation.”
Ventura said she had thoughts of suicidal ideation due to the “insurmountable level of trauma” she allegedly faced with Combs.
However, with her “family’s intervention” and therapy, the pop star said she has been able to “confront, compartmentalize, and cope with the horrific memories of sexual and emotional abuse I endured for nearly ten years.”
Ventura concluded her letter by asking the judge to issue a sentence that “considers the many lives that Sean Combs has upended with his abuse and control.”
Page Six has reached out to Combs’ rep for comment but did not immediately hear back.
Ventura was one of several people who testified in Combs’ trial, telling jurors that she was allegedly raped and abused by the disgraced hip-hop mogul.
In one part of her grueling testimony, the mom of three claimed Combs forced a male escort to urinate in her mouth during a “Freak-Off” party.
On July 2, the Revolt co-founder was acquitted of his more serious charges in his sex trafficking trial.
However, Combs was found guilty of two counts of prostitution, each carrying a maximum of 10 years in prison.
Combs’ sentencing is scheduled for Friday.
The “Act Bad” rapper is still facing dozens of lawsuits from men and women, accusing him of a range of sexual misconduct and other illegal activity. He has denied all wrongdoing.
