“I asked him how he was, and he said he was feeling a lot better now and that it was ‘just one of those things,’” local Lee Harman told PA, per Hello! magazine.
The conversation took place in Newmarket, England where the king was visited with his wife, Queen Camilla.
During the chat, Harman said he opened up about his own cancer battle after His Majesty had asked how he was feeling.
“He asked me how I was, and I said, ‘I’m all good, I got the all clear from cancer last year,’” Harman, 54, told the outlet.
Charles has largely opted to remain tight-lipped about his health battle, and has decided not to disclose the type of cancer he is battling.
Still, the king hasn’t missed a beat when it comes to his royal duties — though a health scare in March proved to be touch-and-go.
The cancer-stricken monarch was hospitalized for temporary side effects from his weekly treatment session.
And while Buckingham Palace called the health scare a mere “bump in the road,” the ordeal still prompted Charles to cancel all of his royal engagements slated for the following days.
In May, Their Majesties traveled to Canada for an official visit, during which their aide divulged on how the king was juggling his diagnosis with royal duties.
“The thing you learn about this illness is that you just manage it, and that’s what he does,” the aide said at the time.
“Medical science has made incredible advances, and I genuinely see no difference in him. As long as you just do what the doctors say, just live your life as normal as possible. That’s exactly what he is doing.”

News of the king’s cancer diagnosis came to light after he underwent a procedure for an enlarged prostate. There, doctors discovered “a separate issue of concern” that requires treatment.
The palace later clarified that the cancer was not prostate cancer.
Last year, Charles admitted that news of his diagnosis came as a “shock.”
“It’s always a bit of a shock, isn’t it, when they tell you?” Charles said three months after going public with his battle.
The king was heard telling royal watchers that he was feeling “well” and “not too bad” as he continues to receive outpatient treatment.
