The groundbreaking record, which used unconventional sounds like clocks, cash registers and heartbeats to dizzying sonic effect, defied expectations and stayed on Billboard’s charts for 990 weeks.

Six years — and three albums — later, the legendary art rockers unveiled the 26-song concept album “The Wall,” which spawned the zeitgeist-y “Another Brick in the Wall, Pt. 2,” Comfortably Numb,” “Young Lust,” “Hey You” and “Mother” among others.
Due to the group’s enduring legacy, the band has inspired a number of tribute acts, none greater than Damian Darlington’s Brit Floyd, which took the mantle from his previous group The Australian Pink Floyd Show.
Starting in February, Darlington will take his group on the road for their nationwide ‘The Moon, The Wall, and Beyond Tour’ that will pay respect to the two aforementioned records (as well as cuts from “Animals” and “Wish You Were Here”) at arenas, theaters, auditoriums, symphony halls, opera houses, performing arts centers and amphitheaters all over North America.
That includes eight shows in New York and New Jersey. They’ll take place on:
Buffalo, NY’s Shea’s Performing Arts Center
Feb. 24
Schenectady, NY’s Proctors
Feb. 28
New Brunswick, NJ’s State Theatre
March 4
Huntington, NY’s Paramount Theatre
March 18
Huntington, NY’s Paramount Theatre
March 19
Atlantic City, NJ’s Hard Rock Live
March 21
Rochester, NY’s Auditorium Theatre
March 22
Syracuse, NY’s Oncenter Crouse Hinds Theater
March 24
And if you’re on the fence about seeing a tribute act, be rest assured that Brit Floyd goes all out and puts on a full concert experience for fans including stunning visuals, lasers and spot-on recreations of the iconic songs.
“This might not have been Roger Waters and David Gilmour on stage, but when I closed my eyes, I honestly couldn’t tell the difference,” Will To Rock reported about one of Brit Floyd’s ‘Wish You Were Here 50th Anniversary Tour’ this past July. “…these [Brits] put on a great show that goes beyond covering a great band, it elevates the tribute band to an art form.”
Fans Crazy Diamonds can purchase tickets for all upcoming Brit Floyds shows on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale for the 2026 ‘The Moon, The Wall, and Beyond Tour’ is Friday, Oct. 3.
Vivid Seats is a secondary market ticketing platform, and prices may be higher or lower than face value, depending on demand.

That’s because its greatest strength is the underlying story of a cynical rocker named Pink who has built a metaphorical “wall” in an effort to isolate.
