Brady and the Blues’ for free
Just days after ESPN released a docuseries following a celebrity-owned European soccer team, Prime Video dropped their own.
In 2023, five-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady became a minority owner of Birmingham City F.C., a soccer team in the English football league system. Prime Video’s new doc, “Built in Birmingham: Brady and the Blues,” follows Birmingham City’s 2024-25 season as Brady takes on a more active role as owner.

Birmingham City currently plays in the Championship, the second tier of English football below the Premier League, but when Brady came on as owner, they played in League One and were promoted after a successful season.
The doc follows the Blues’ first season back in the Championship (where they, coincidentally, play against another celebrity-owned success story, Wrexham A.F.C.), and offers unfiltered access to Brady, majority owner Tom Wagner, and the team itself.
