The lawyers claimed Baldoni’s lawyers attempted to “advance a storyline that the deposition was a face-to-face showdown between Mr. Baldoni and Ms. Lively” in order to “create a media circus.”

TMZ previously reported that Baldoni was present for Lively’s deposition at her lawyer’s office in New York City. Daily Mail reported that Lively showed up to the deposition with her older sister Robyn Lively, husband Ryan Reynolds, and eight lawyers.

According to the motion, details leaked to TMZ and the Daily Mail led to misleading narratives, included that she “needed a large contingent of people with her to testify, while misleadingly suggesting that only Mr. Baldoni and [his attorney Bryan] Freedman were present for the deposition on their side.”

Blake’s lawyers clarified that she “testified across the table from Mr. Baldoni, Jamey Heath, Steve Sarowitz, Melissa Nathan and Jennifer Abel, all of whom attended this deposition in person, as well as eight attorneys representing the Wayfarer and Wallace Parties, two of whom questioned her.”

Blake’s attorneys and Baldoni’s lawyer didn’t immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.

The “Gossip Girl” alum’s representatives have previously accused Baldoni’s lawyer, Bryan Freedman, of attempting to make her deposition “a spectacle.”

“Justin Baldoni’s lawyer has tried to make this matter a public spectacle at every turn, even proposing to sell tickets to a televised deposition at Madison Square Garden,” her rep told People in a statement last month. “This is a serious matter of sexual harassment and retaliation, and it deserves to be treated as such.”

She’s also suing his publicists for allegedly orchestrating a subsequent smear campaign against her, although her claims against social media PR specialist Jed Wallace were dismissed last month.

Baldoni, who has denied the allegations, countersued Blake and Reynolds for defamation and extortion.

However, a judge tossed out his $400 million suit in June.
