Blake Lively scores victory in court battle against PR firm tied to Justin Baldoni

Blake Lively scored a victory in a court battle against the public relations firm tied to Justin Baldoni.
A judge ruled on Wednesday that the Texas court did not have the power to deal with the lawsuit, which crisis PR expert Jed Wallace filed in the Lone Star state in February, according to court docs obtained by Page Six.

It’s unclear if Wallace, who owns firm Street Relations Inc., plans to refile his defamation suit in another state.
Page Six has reached out to Wallace’s reps for comment but did not immediately hear back.
In a separate lawsuit filed in December 2024, Lively, 38, accused her “It Ends With Us” co-star and director, Justin Baldoni, of retaliating against her sexual harassment complaints by conspiring to damage her reputation with an online smear campaign.
Baldoni has denied any wrongdoing.
The mom of four claimed in her suit that Baldoni’s team hired Wallace and his company, Street Relations Inc., to weaponize a “digital army” to harm her reputation on several online forums, including Reddit.
In response, Wallace filed a defamation lawsuit against Lively, claiming her allegations cost him “millions of dollars in reputational harm with a projected loss to his company that exceeds another million.”
However, last week, Judge Lewis Liman ruled that Lively’s attorneys failed to show that Wallace had a sufficient connection in New York to be sued there because he is based in Austin, Texas.
Subsequently, the judge dismissed Lively’s claims against Wallace — evening the score for the parties — but left open the possibility that the “Another Simple Favor” star could sue the social media operative in Texas.
“We are grateful for the Court’s order today, making clear that the claims against Mr. Wallace never belonged in this court,” said Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman.
“Allegations that he participated in any smear campaign are unsupported, and all claims against him have been dismissed by this court.
“The other defendants look forward to their day in court when they will show there is no merit to Ms. Lively’s claims against them,” the famed lawyer added.
Meanwhile, Lively is suing Baldoni, 41, for sexual harassment.
In response, the “Five Feet Apart” director filed a $400 million defamation lawsuit against his former co-star, her husband, Ryan Reynolds and their publicist, Leslie Sloane.
Baldoni’s lawsuit was thrown out by a judge in June because Lively’s allegations about the dad of two are “privileged” in legal documents.
They will head to trial in March 2026 for Lively’s ongoing suit against Baldoni.
