Joe Rupp, a Lancaster, New York, resident collaborated with Dick’s Sporting Goods, which donated a six-foot mannequin of the all-world quarterback — who is wearing his official uniform and helmet and holding the mailbox like he would a football — for the labor of love project, which took him three months to create.

“He’s got his big ole handsome smiling face looking out of the helmet. He’s dressed like he would look for game day,” Rupp, a retired postal worker, told WKBW.

“This guy is a true gem for the city.”

The mailbox — at 17 Park Edge Drive — also Allen’s jersey number — has a motion-sensor sound box that plays Bills-themed soundbites.

It even recites the quarterback’s famous 2024 MVP award acceptance speech, where he said, “Be good … do good … God bless … and go Bills.”

Rupp worked on the project in secret and now that it’s public, he gets to share it with his neighbors.

“So many people have stopped, laughed, waved, and pulled over to take pictures,” Rupp, who unveiled his creation in time for the the team’s preseason opener, told the outlet.

The 58-year-old came up with the idea to pay homage to Allen — who was drafted by the Bills in 2018 and has spent his entire career with the western New York franchise — during a walk with his grandson.

“It’s a family project, not a me project. I wanted everybody to be a part of it,” he added.

He also hopes it will bring good luck to the team, which has yet to win a Super Bowl.

“I honestly think this is our year,” he said.
