‘Below Deck’ Exclusive Clip: Rainbeau de Roos’ Continues To Clash With Solène Favreau

Second stew Rainbeau de Roos’ no-nonsense management style doesn’t seem to be gelling with the interior crew of Below Deck Season 12. With 5 years in the yachting industry under her belt, de Roos doesn’t have patience for kooky newbie Solène Favreau, who stepped onboard the Motoryacht St. David with less than a month’s experience. Favreau’s chaotic style and French sense of humor baffled both de Roos and fellow stew Barbara Kulaif. However, Kulaif, initially frustrated with Favreau, was eventually won over by Favreau’s personality and small improvements on the job. 



In this exclusive clip from Monday’s all-new episode, de Roos is cleaning a cabin while Favreau is another floor away organizing a fridge. Frustrated, de Roos gets on her radio. “Celeste, Celeste, Rainbeau,” de Roos calls, accidentally calling Solène the wrong French name. Not missing a beat, Favreau responds. “Go ahead,” she says wearily. “Can you drop what you’re doing and jump into cabins, please?” asks de Roos. Saying nothing, Favreau gets up and prepares to head downstairs. “She is very crazy,” says Favreau to herself.



Favreau heads to the cabin where de Roos is working. “Queen cabin,” says Favreau immediately. “But I’m working and not finished,” protests Favreau. “Yeah, this is a little more important because the guests come back in 30 minutes, and if the cabins aren’t done, we’re fucked,” explains de Roos. Knowing she’s not going to win the fight, Favreau heads into the cabin de Roos indicates. “Now I have to set this table,” says de Roos as she heads upstairs. On the walk, the frustrated de Roos begins to mock Favreau. “I’m not finished, I’m not finished,” de Roos says to herself in a bad French accent. “Bitch, come on.”

The camera cuts to chief stew Fraser Olender serving the guests on a beach, completely unaware of the turmoil happening within his team. Back in the cabin, Kulaif visits with Favreau and tries to lighten the mood. She puts on one of their guests’ balaclavas and does a somersault in the middle of the room. “You’re a very bad ninja,” giggles Favreau.

“Rainbeau, she says it’s the end of the world, we have to go fast,” says Favreau as Kulaif begins to help her clean. In her confessional, Kulaif shares her opinion of the situation. “I think Rainbeau really works a lot, but I don’t think Rainbeau knows how to ask for help in a nice way.” The camera then plays a montage of flashbacks of de Roos being rude to Favreau with her abrupt directions and her attitude. “She’s not my vibe,” says Kulaif simply. Back in the cabin, Favreau thinks she knows what de Roos needs to mellow out. “Maybe she needs sex to relax the body,” Favreau jokes.
