It’s shaping up to be a tricky week for the Kmet family.

“I don’t talk to her on Packer week,” Kmet, 26, quipped Tuesday when asked who his sibling is rooting for. “So, I’ll find out after the game.”

Frankie has been dating Van Ness, 24, for nearly four years and was part of his wild NFL draft celebrations in 2023, when the Packers selected him 13th overall out of Iowa.

“My boy a Packer,” she exclaimed on Instagram in May 2023. “Congrats @lukas_vanness you deserve it all, I love you.”

Kmet, a second-rounder out of Notre Dame in 2020, added he’s had some communication with his sister in the lead-up to Saturday’s first-round showdown in Chicago.

“She did ask for tickets and I just sent her the tickets, so I didn’t really respond to anything else besides that,” he said.

Pressed why Frankie didn’t look to her boyfriend for tickets, Kmet replied, “They wanted the better seats, that’s why. I had to help my sister out.”

He added, “All kidding aside, I usually find that out [who Frankie is supporting] after the game. Usually, she is just happy to see both of us healthy and all that good sister stuff. But I hope deep down she is rooting for us.”

Saturday’s game marks the Bears’ first playoff appearance since 2021 following an epic turnaround from first-year coach Ben Johnson, who flipped Chicago from a 5-12 club in 2024 to the NFC’s No. 2 seed at 11-6 a year later.

The Packers, who posted a 9-7-1 finish, are the No. 7 seed.

Kickoff is slated for 8 p.m. at Soldier Field.
