The third installment in the James Cameron sci-fi franchise has already passed the $1 billion mark in global earnings.

In the second spot was “Primate,” which opened on Friday with sales of $4.55 million.

Fox News said the horror film — which centers around a family’s chimp that turns into a cold-blooded killer — “flexes its muscle despite the lack of star power in a genre that’s been struggling for originality.”

“The Housemaid,” the thriller starring Sydney Sweeney and Amanda Seyfried, moved up a notch to third, with $3.32 in revenue.

In fourth was “Greenland 2: Migration,” with a $3.26 million take on its opening day.

The Post called the post-apocalyptic survival disaster flick — where Gerard Butler reprises his role in the 2020 original — an “unnecessary bore of a sequel.”

“Marty Supreme” fell two spots to fifth, earning over $2.25 million on Friday, its third in theaters.

The sports drama was nominated for three Golden Globes, Best Motion Picture, Best Performance by a Male Actor in a Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy for its star Timothée Chalamet, and Best Screenplay.
