Anya Taylor-Joy bares leather bralette at Marrakech Film Festival

Anya Taylor-Joy showed off her boudoir best over the weekend.
The “Queen’s Gambit” star closed out the 2025 Marrakech International Film Festival on Saturday in a lingerie-inspired Tom Ford slip dress — from Haider Ackermann’s spring 2026 collection for the house — that let a laser-cut leather bralette peek out underneath.

The lace-trimmed design plunged low in the front, with sheer cut-outs creating a chevron pattern across the bodice. A gauzy panel fell to the floor, revealing Tom Ford ankle-strap stiletto sandals.
She added some sparkle with Tiffany & Co. diamonds: the Wings drop earrings ($32,000) and matching Wings wide bangle ($55,000), both from the brand’s Bird on a Rock collection.
The “Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga” actress served as a jury member at the festival alongside Jenna Ortega and “Past Lives” director Celine Song. Oscar winner Bong Joon Ho presided over the eight-person panel, which judged 14 films by first- and second-time directors.
Taylor-Joy delivered a string of fashion moments throughout the week-long event. Earlier appearances included multiple custom Dior gowns — one a black-and-white strapless number with bundles of faux hydrangeas at the hips, another a golden fit-and-flare with floral appliqués — as well as a rare vintage piece from John Galliano’s spring 2001 collection for the house.
The Argentine-British actress has been an ambassador for Dior since 2021 and reliably calls on the French house for many of her red carpet appearances and special occasions.
Past standouts include a sheer tea-length couture design for the 2023 Critics’ Choice Awards and a blush tulle ballgown for her Venice wedding to musician Malcolm McRae that same year.
Taylor-Joy has had a busy 2025: She starred opposite Miles Teller in the Apple TV+ action thriller “The Gorge,” which premiered on Valentine’s Day, and is set to voice Princess Peach again in “The Super Mario Galaxy Movie,” hitting theaters in April 2026.
