Anthony Rizzo chugs beer while taking in Yankees game with wife, baby

Anthony Rizzo enjoyed his final night before retirement.

The former Yankees first baseman — who became a free agent after New York declined his $17 million option for the 2025 season and paid him a $6 million buyout — tossed back a Bud Light while being shown on the Jumbotron at Yankee Stadium during Tuesday’s 12-2 loss to the Detroit Tigers.

Rizzo, who played for the Bombers from 2021-24, took in the action with his wife, Emily Vakos, and their son, who was born this summer.

The Cubs announced Wednesday that Rizzo is retiring as a member of the team and joining the organization as an ambassador.

Rizzo announced he and Emily were expecting their first child together with an Instagram post in January, which showed their dog, Kevin, wearing a bandana that said, “Big Brother.”

“Kev dog is gonna be a big brother!!!!” Rizzo wrote, adding a series of blue heart emojis.

The image also included multiple ultrasound photos and a onesie that said, “Baby Rizzo,” with their expected due date of “June 2025” underneath.

The couple, who met while Rizzo was playing for the Cubs, did not publicly announce the birth of their son.

Rizzo proposed to Emily in June 2017, and they tied the knot in December 2018.

The three-time MLB All-Star spent 10 seasons with the Cubs after they acquired him from the Padres in 2012.

Rizzo, a four-time Gold Glove Award winner, won a World Series with the Cubs in 2016, when he led the team with 109 RBIs.
