Anna Wintour steps down from Vogue after 37 years: reports


Anna Wintour is backing away from her role leading American Vogue after 37 years running the glossy fashion magazine, according to reports.

Wintour, 75, announced that she is seeking a new head of editorial content for American Vogue during a staff meeting Wednesday morning, according to Daily Mail and Fashion Week Daily.

The longtime editor-in-chief, who took the helm in 1988, will continue to hold her positions as Condé Nast’s global chief content officer and Vogue’s global editorial director.

Condé Nast did not immediately respond to The Post’s request for comment.
