Freddie Freeman not only became the first to hit two walk-off World Series homers, he spared the Dodgers from deploying Yoshinobu Yamamoto, who was warming in the bullpen for a potential 19th inning in their 18-inning 6-5 Game 3 win.

He also became the first walk-off homer hitter to be upstaged by a teammate.

Shohei Ohtani was the first in any game to reach base nine times since 1942, when the Cubs’ Stan Hack did it. No one had ever reached base even seven times in any postseason game.

Naturally no one ever was intentionally walked four times in one game (and semi-intentionally a fifth). And three of those times were with nobody on base.
