“You know, Natasha was a dear friend of mine and I’m gonna tell you something,” Cohen said, referring to Neeson’s late wife, Natasha Richardson.

“I, and all of the friends in this circle, are very much stanning whatever this is. Shipping,” Cohen stated.

The “Real Housewives” producer pointed out that “it’s been 16 years” since Richardson died at age 45 in a skiing accident.

“As I was telling him at the premiere party, I go, ‘Liam, she is an independent woman, just like Tash was. She loves to cook. She has her own thing going on. She has two boys,’” Cohen explained.

“I mean, this just works, and you know, she is a formidable human being, Pamela Anderson,” Cohen added. “She really is. Like what she’s been through and how she kind of reclaimed herself and redefined herself.”

Cohen became good friends with Richardson through mutual pal John Benjamin Hickey.

At the time of her death in 2009, the “Parent Trap” actress was married to Neeson for 15 years. They had two sons together: Micheál Richardson, 30, and Daniel Neeson, 28.

On Tuesday, People reported that Neeson and Anderson are dating after working together on “The Naked Gun” remake.

A source claimed that the pair’s “budding romance [is] in the early stages” and that they’re “enjoying each other’s company.”

“It’s sincere,” the insider added, “and it’s clear they’re smitten with each other.”

Neeson and Anderson have been flaunting their chemistry while promoting their new action comedy.

On Tuesday, the stars pretended to make out during their appearance on “Today,” as they jokingly played coy about the status of their relationship.

“I had never met Pamela before. We met on set. And we discovered we had a lovely budding chemistry as two actors,” Neeson said during the interview. “It was like ‘Ooo, this is nice, let’s not mold this. Let’s just let it breathe.’ And that’s what we did.”

The rumored couple got affectionate last week at the film’s London premiere, where Anderson kissed Neeson on the cheek.

They also attended the movie’s NYC premiere on Monday with Neeson’s two sons and Anderson’s sons Dylan Jagger Lee, 27, and Brandon Thomas Lee, 29, who she shares with ex Tommy Lee.

Earlier this month, Anderson told Entertainment Weekly: “I think I have a friend forever in Liam, and we definitely have a connection that is very sincere, very loving, and he’s a good guy.”

Neeson, for his part, quipped to People in October that he was “madly in love” with Anderson.

That same month, Neeson claimed that he was done dating a decade and a half after Richardson’s death.

“I’m past all that,” he shared in a People interview.
