This is it. There is no tomorrow.

The moves you make today should be about winning that title, even if it means cutting superstars who have become dead weight.

With apologies to players such as Mike Trout and Rafael Devers, it is time to turn our waiver wire attention to the more obscure names who are playing for their futures.

Judging by the roster numbers at ESPN and Yahoo, it is clear that few people know the name Caleb Durbin.

The 25-year-old Brewers infielder has been a season-long contributor with a little bit of pop, a fair amount of speed and a whole lot of plate discipline.

Yet he is rostered in fewer than 30 percent of leagues.

With just a 9.7 percent strikeout rate, Durbin has posted a .341 on-base percentage for the season, and over the past seven days he is batting .450 with a one home run, five RBIs, nine runs scored and one stolen base over 20 at-bats.

What we find even more helpful about using Durbin is his position eligibility. Across multiple platforms, Durbin qualifies at second base, third base and shortstop.

Obviously, that allows you to plug him in anywhere and get the benefits of his plate discipline on a daily basis.

And with the Brewers closing out their season at home, where Durbin is hitting 40 points higher with a splash more power, his contributions should have a solid impact on the final weeks.

Should someone in your league already possess the helpful Durbin, you can turn your attention to utility man Kody Clemens.

Though his batting average and OBP are nowhere near as consistent as those of Durbin, he is closing out the year in style with a .412 average, three home runs, seven RBI, seven runs scored and one stolen base over 17 at-bats this past week.

With the Twins having used Clemens all over the diamond, he has quickly become a fantasy asset for plug-and-play.

After landing with the Twins earlier in the season, Clemens has now appeared at first base, second base, third base and the outfield.

With most leagues sporting a middle and corner infield position, Clemens can virtually go anywhere outside of catcher and the actual shortstop position.

Just like with Durbin, the ability to move him around on your roster makes it easier to accrue much-needed at-bats this late in the game.

And with a season-closing series in hitter-friendly Philadelphia, his former club, you can bet he wants to show them what they missed by trading him.

It is highly unlikely that you will find someone on your waiver wire who will contribute world-beating statistics.

Nevertheless, finding players on a late-season hot streak who can be plugged into your lineup at nearly every position will help you finish the season strong.

Unless you are in a keeper league, there is no sense in waiting on a superstar to break out of a recent slump.

Make the change now and grab as many stats as you can to close it out.
