A$AP Rocky hints he and Rihanna are already married ahead of baby #3

A$AP Rocky is playing coy.

The “Sundress” rapper, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, hinted that he and Rihanna have already tied the knot during an interview with Elle published Tuesday, Sept. 23.

“How you know I’m not already a husband?” Rocky, 36, joked when asked if he was excited about becoming the “Umbrella” singer’s spouse. “I’m still not gonna confirm it.”

While Rocky shied away from revealing whether he and Rihanna, 37, are already married, he was more than happy to discuss how he and his famous partner manage to separate their public professional lives from their private family lives.

“We don’t talk too much about work, because we deal with that all day, every day,” the “Praise the Lord” rapper shared. “When you come home, it’s about family. It’s about your relationship. It’s about your household. It ain’t about all that other s–t.”

Rocky and Rihanna, real name Robyn Rihanna Fenty, first met when they performed together at the MTV VMAs in 2012. Although romance rumors began heating up in 2019, their relationship was not confirmed until Rocky broke the news during an interview with GQ in 2021.

“So much better,” Rocky told the outlet when asked how it felt to be in a relationship. “So much better when you got the One. She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones.”

“I think when you know, you know,” he added at the time. “She’s the One.”

Since making their relationship public, the “Fashion Killa” rapper and “Don’t Stop the Music” singer have welcomed two children together: sons RZA, 3, and Riot, 2.

The couple is now expecting their third baby together, and Rocky revealed that he is secretly hoping for a girl this time around.

“Our first time, we wanted to know the sex of the baby,” he told Elle. “The second time, we didn’t want to know. Third time, we don’t want to know until, you know.”

“I feel like it’s going to be a girl,” Rocky added. “This pregnancy is so different from the other two. You can tell from the experience. I hope it’s a baby girl, man. I need that.”

This, however, wouldn’t be the first time the “Live. Love. ASAP” artist teased his and Rihanna’s possible marriage, because he previously called the “Diamonds” hitmaker his “wife” during an interview with Mystery Fashionist earlier this year.

“That’s my son — she my son,” he told the channel in March. “Birds of a feather, flock together. I’m gonna ride till the wheels fall off like she do. That’s my dog, that’s my bitch, that’s my wife, that’s my everything.”

As for Rihanna, she sparked marriage rumors as well while talking about “wifehood” during a chat with E! News in October 2024.

“Motherhood, wifehood-ish, wife-ish hood and just being a homebody. I love it,” she teased. “I love to be a homemaker. I have a lot of women in my home right now, and I just like to be exciting and celebrate things. I’m trying to build new traditions for our little family that we built.”

Rihanna confirmed she was pregnant with her and Rocky’s third child during this year’s Met Gala in May.

Even though she is expecting, the “Anti” artist assured fans that her third child wouldn’t interfere with her highly anticipated and forthcoming ninth album.

“No!” she told Entertainment Tonight when pressed about the possibility. “Maybe a couple videos. But I can [still] sing.”
