‘The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives’ star goes into labor at nail salon
“The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” star Jen Affleck experienced the surprise of a lifetime when she started going into labor while getting a manicure.
“POV: you start having contractions at your nail appointment,” the 26-year-old wrote in a TikTok video posted on Friday.

“How are you feeling?” a friend asked the reality star. “I’m feeling great,” Affleck responded.
She began timing her contractions and presumably called her husband, Zac Affleck, to tell him she had gone into labor.
In the midst of the madness, she had to show off her freshly painted, baby pink manicure. The couple are reportedly waiting to find out the sex of their baby until he or she is born.
The “MomTok” star began doing squats to ease the contractions and even got her cervix checked on the floor of the nail salon.
The influencer announced she was pregnant on Feb. 11.
“I’ve always dreamed of a big family, and seeing that dream come true is both exciting and fulfilling,” she told People at the time.
Jen and Zac got married in June 2019, after meeting through a Mormon dating app.
They share two other children: daughter, Nora, 3, and son, Lucas, 1.
The pair went through a brief separation in late 2024, and it was a major storyline on Season 2 of the hit show.
Early on in the second season, viewers learned that they had decided to take some time apart after an incident shown in Season 1 of the show, where Jen went to Chippendales.
“It’s been a few months of straight hell since Vegas,” she shared in a Season 2 episode.
Season 2 also documented the two going to therapy and working on their marriage.
The parents candidly revealed in February that Jen’s third pregnancy was unexpected and came during the time they were still navigating their separation.
“I was a few days late, and while it was a surprise, we both had a feeling there was another baby waiting for us,” she admitted to People.
“We were very excited, there were a lot of emotions after a very crazy year!”
