That leaves four teams — No. 1 Indiana, No. 5 Oregon, No. 6 Miami and No. 10 Ole Miss — in the hunt for the national championship.

Ohio State spent the majority of the season as the favorite to win the title, so the Buckeyes’ departure altered the betting board quite a bit.

Indiana, fresh off a demolition of Alabama in the Rose Bowl, is your new favorite, but the draw is imbalanced with the Hoosiers taking on Oregon, the second choice, in the second semifinal on Jan. 9.

The Hoosiers are 4.5-point favorites over Oregon in that tilt, which will be played at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta.

Indiana defeated the Ducks, 30-20, on the road on Oct. 11.

Miami, which was left for dead after dropping two games to Louisville and SMU in the middle of the season, is right behind Oregon in the futures market at +330 odds.

The Hurricanes have been all over the betting board this season, but those who bought low on Miami a couple of months ago are sitting with a pretty ticket as the Canes travel to Glendale, Ariz., to take on Ole Miss in the Fiesta Bowl on Jan. 8.

The Rebels continued their revenge tour with a dramatic victory over Georgia on New Year’s Day.

It was a gutsy effort from Ole Miss, but the box score shows that the Rebels were deserving winners, gaining 473 yards of offense against an in-form defense.

The Rebels are a 2.5-point underdog against Miami, and the highest price in the futures market at +570 odds.
