Jericho, a musician as well as an in-ring performer in the wrestling business since the 1990s, thanked Pinfield for coming on hid podcast while talking about some his bigger interest in rock-and-roll.
The wrestling legend showed off his classic long-haired look, a stark difference from his look during his last AEW appearance in June.
With his lucrative AEW contract having expired, Jericho is a free agent and is widely expected to be back in the WWE as soon as next week, when “RAW” airs on Monday, Jan. 5 from Barclays Center in Brooklyn.
This year’s Royal Rumble, happening Jan. 31 at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is another rumored return date for Jericho, as the event constantly features surprise entrants.
Jericho also appears to have melted some weight off aead of a potential return to the WWE, with his last match with the company coming in 2018.
The wrestling legend at one point admitted to getting up to 240 pounds during his AEW run, and while we don’t know his current weight, he looks to be in the best shape we’ve seen him in years.

Should Jericho return to the WWE as widely speculated, he could be a perfect fit to work alongside Cody Rhodes, AJ Styles or LA Knight, as Jericho has been a notorious heel for most of his career.
Jericho joined AEW in 2019 when the promotion opened and served as the company’s first world champion, with his reputation helping lift the company during a critical time.
He is credited as having last wrestled on June 4, 2025, during the AEW Dynasty pay-per-view event, and competed in just eight bouts during 2025, according to Cagematch.
