New Movies on Streaming: ‘Wicked: For Good’ + More

This week’s new movies on demand include one of the year’s biggest box office hits, Wicked: For Good, plus a few more films released earlier in the year that we can’t wait to dive into, including It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley, and a new take on Dracula.

In this Romanian production of Dracula helmed by filmmaker Ranu Jude, the traditional vampire tale is turned on its head. This absurdist take on the story is a movie within a movie, incorporating AI and meta commentary on movie-making and the familiar tropes of past Dracula movies to send up the very thing he’s creating.

Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande are back as Elphaba and Galinda (sorry, Glinda the Good) in Wicked: For Good, the second part of director Jon M. Chu’s epic Oz musical fantasy. The film was one of the biggest hits of 2025 and arrived to digital platforms on Tuesday.

In the nearly 30 years since musician Jeff Buckley’s passing, his legend and fan base has only grown. Amy Berg’s It’s Never Over, Jeff Buckley explores the life and death of the singer who accidentally drowned while swimming in a Memphis river in 1997, from his early days in New York City to his rapid ascent to stardom after the release of his first (and only) album, Grace. To a certain generation, the film may just be the cathartic release we need to get over the loss of a performer who left us much too soon.
