Magic vs. Pacers prediction: NBA Wednesday night picks, odds, best bets

Sports bettors must stay flexible throughout the course of a long NBA season. Injuries occur, lineups change, and players evolve. 

A good example of this is Anthony Black of the Orlando Magic, who visit the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday. 

The 21-year-old guard is in his third season and is starting to find his groove, now that he has started nine straight games. That has led to scoring at least 19 points in each of his past seven games, cashing the Over in his point props in each. 

When a young player is rewarded with more playing time, he is usually reluctant to embrace the opportunity with full throttle right away.

They usually proceed cautiously, and that certainly occurred with Black. But he’s now much more comfortable and situated with his role, and that is why his production is shining right now.
