OnlyFans star Addyson James says she’s broke, homeless after going into porn

A former US Navy veteran turned porn star has revealed that she went broke after going into porn — and she’s warning that OnlyFans isn’t the golden goose everything thinks it is.

Addyson James, 46, who served in Afghanistan before leaving the military in 2003, has lifted the lid on the struggles she has had finding work — three years after going full-time in the skin biz.

“There are 1% of people who are on OnlyFans who shoot porn that actually make a lot of money and the common misconception is, if they see us on camera they think, ‘Oh, I thought they made $10,000 a scene,’ James told the Sun.

“Most people don’t even make $10,000 a year shooting porn,” she added.

She told the UK newspaper that she has been homeless for the past four months because she hasn’t made enough money from her career change.

The veteran from Vermont joined the Navy in 1998, serving as an aircraft logistics specialist for her last three years.

For most of her service, she was stationed at Diego Garcia, the joint US-UK military base in the Indian Ocean.

After leaving the Navy, she worked as an esthetician, and was engaged in swinging.

“I became a swinger 15 years ago, so I was pretty open sexually. Then three years ago, I was approached by a company about doing porn,” she told the Sun.

“I hesitated a little bit because I wasn’t sure if I was ready to be on the internet and what that might do to my current career of being an esthetician,” she said.

But despite making up to $1,200 per scene, she revealed that work had dried up.

“During the springtime, things were busy. I was shooting five to seven scenes a month,” she said.

“Then summer hits and I went from five to seven scenes a month to zero scenes for over two months. So during this period. I stayed with some friends,” James said.

She is currently living at Sheri’s Ranch, a legal brothel just outside of Las Vegas, while she looks for somewhere more permanent.

“I heard about Sheri’s and I contemplated it and then I did some research and I said, I think this is going to be the best thing I can do for supplemental income, and it will give me a place to stay,” James said.

During her naval service, James recalled signing her name on bombs bound for Afghanistan where al-Qaeda terrorists were hiding.

“The stealth bombers were flying in. We were putting bombs on them and launching those planes out, and they were dropping bombs on Afghanistan,” she said.

“It was incredibly important with the missions that we were completing,” she added.
