Sean Combs’ Sons Christian And Justin Unveil Trailer Teasing A New Docuseries About His Trial: “Do You Believe Your Fathers’ Innocence?”

Sean “Diddy” Combs‘ sons, Justin and Christian Combs, announced they will be releasing a new documentary series looking back on his federal trial.

Earlier this year, Diddy was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution in a highly publicized trial that featured testimonies from two former girlfriends who accused him of abuse and forcing them to participate in “freak-offs,” per BBC. He was found not guilty of the two more serious charges he faced at the time, racketeering conspiracy and sex trafficking.

Now, it appears that Justin and Christian will be sharing their side of the story. In a trailer that dropped Sunday night and can be watched below, the brothers appear to be watching footage from the courthouse as they get inundated with questions and comments about their dad: “How did you feel hearing that testimony? Do you believe your fathers’ innocence? It’s like O.J. [Simpson] all over again.”

The trailer ends with the brothers receiving a call from Fort Dix, where Diddy is currently serving his 50-month sentence.

Zeus CEO Lemuel Plummer clarified the network’s stance on the documentary series.

“To be clear, this documentary is about giving Justin and Christian the opportunity to share their personal story,” he wrote. “We’re not here to endorse Diddy or anyone else. As a network, we believe in giving individuals a platform to tell their own experiences, just like any network that enters the documentary space. We’re simply allowing these stories to be told, and that’s the essence of what we’re doing here.”

The untitled documentary series would not be the first to come out of Diddy’s trial. The former music mogul is reportedly still considering taking legal action against Netflix and rapper Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson for releasing the documentary series Sean Combs: The Reckoning.

Alexandria Stapleton directed the series while 50 Cent served as an executive producer. The documentary features “intimate footage” of Combs in the final six days before he was arrested.

The documentary even shows Diddy taking private calls, looking for “someone who will work with us who has worked in the dirtiest of dirty businesses.” The reality of the situation seems to have already hit the rapper as he announces, “We are losing.”

Diddy’s people called it a “shameful hit piece” and claimed the footage featured in the doc was illegally obtained, which Netflix denies.

“The project has no ties to any past conversations between Sean Combs and Netflix,” a Netflix spokesperson told Deadline. “The footage of Combs leading up to his indictment and arrest were legally obtained. This is not a hit piece or an act of retribution. Curtis Jackson is an executive producer but does not have creative control. No one was paid to participate.”

Diddy is now set to be released in May 2028.
