Swift and her fiancée, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, were trying to slip out of Arrowhead after the Chiefs’ stinging Christmas Day home loss to the rival Denver Broncos with matriarch Donna Kelce in tow.
On their way out, they ran into Robyn Gentry, a catering attendant at the stadium.
“[Swift] was running around telling everyone merry Christmas and came towards me, saying thank you so much for working on Christmas, please take this, merry Christmas,” Gentry wrote on a Swiftie Facebook group. “My mind just froze. Of course I said merry Christmas and thank you so much.”
Gentry said she didn’t even process what Swift had folded into her palm until the power couple was gone.
To her shock, Swift left six $100 bills.
“My whole paycheck for two weeks,” Gentry balked. “I had just dropped that much for Christmas for 8 kids. I immediately started crying.”
Gentry wisely pocketed the cash for savings, but set a single bill aside and framed it.
“Still haven’t spent any, but I wanted to share the story with people who will appreciate it with me. Taylor and Travis are beautifully kind people,” she wrote.
Some stunned fans suggested Gentry spend the money on more Swift merchandise, while others used the Grammy-award winner’s charity as proof she isn’t the “evil billionaire” naysayers depict her as.
In the Disney+ documentary “Taylor Swift: The End of an Era,” which detailed her massive world tour, Swift gifted her concert crew with a jaw-dropping $197 million in bonuses — close to 10% of the show’s total earnings.
Ahead of Christmas, Swift also donated $1 million to both the American Heart Association and Feeding America.
Her Christmas Day appearance at the Chiefs’ game coincided with what was could be Kelce’s swan song, with many speculating the future Hall of Famer may call it quits after a 13-year career.
Kelce and Swift are set to tie the knot in June.
