Dunne, 23, who loves “old school” romcoms like “Notting Hill,” said she is working with an acting coach and reading scripts.

When asked what she’s been reading of late, Dunne joked, “Contracts.”

“I can do cool action things as well,” Dunne said.

Her acting coach tells her the action genre is comparable to her gymnastics history.

On Monday, Dunne shared in an Instagram Story post that she saw her “Maxim” cover for the first time while on a FaceTime call with her sister, Julz Dunne, who is her manager.

“Somebody pinch me!!!” Dunne wrote, including the winter 2025 cover, shot by Gilles Bensimon, a New York City based photographer.

Dunne was one of the faces of the name, image and likeness era when the NCAA rule change happened — allowing student athletes to benefit from their NIL — in 2021.

She reportedly was the highest-paid female college athlete during her five-year tenure at LSU.

Dunne landed the cover of the 2025 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, which debuted in May, after making her SI debut in 2023.

The New Jersey native, who won an NCAA title with LSU in 2024, rose to internet fame when her gymnastics videos went viral on TikTok during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Dunne was featured in a photoshoot spread in Elle magazine in 2023.

Earlier this year, GQ published a joint interview and photoshoot with her and boyfriend, Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes.

“I created something larger than sport,” Dunne, who recently purchased an apartment in New York City, said in her Maxim interview.
