Alec Baldwin now wants $21M for his Hamptons estate

Alec Baldwin is giving his Hamptons estate another shot, bringing the East End spread back to market this week with an asking price of $21 million.

The return, reported by Mansion Global, comes after several swings at selling the Amagansett property since late 2022, when it debuted for $29 million before price cuts and pauses.

By July of last year, the home was withdrawn at roughly $19 million; the new price reflects a bump and a renewed effort to find a match.

Representatives for the actor did not comment on this new listing effort.

Baldwin, now 67, purchased the 5-acre parcel nearly three decades ago for $1.75 million, long before the farmhouse — whose oldest sections date to around 1740 — was expanded into the roughly 10,000-square-foot residence that stands today.

The exterior remains classic Hamptons: gray shingles, crisp blue shutters and lawns bordered by mature trees. Interiors have since been reworked and extended under Baldwin’s ownership, combining period architecture with modern space and amenities.

The main house holds five bedrooms and multiple gathering areas, including a paneled library, a home theater and a dedicated wine-tasting room.

Rooms open to broad lawns and hedged gardens, while the kitchen and living spaces reflect a blend of contemporary upgrades and farmhouse character. Listing photos also show a fenced vegetable garden and rooftop solar panels.

Outdoors, the gunite pool and hot tub sit beside a 625-square-foot pavilion equipped with a fieldstone fireplace, creating a second living zone for summer entertaining.

The grounds are notably generous for Amagansett, with room to spread out and, unusually, to grow. Architectural drawings offer a blueprint for expansion that would add two bedrooms, a formal dining room, a sunroom and a screened porch.

The listing also notes the unusual ability to add a separate guest house — rare in the Hamptons. Saunders & Associates

The listing goes a step further, noting that zoning could also permit a separate guest house — described as a rarity in a part of the Hamptons where land-use restrictions often limit such additions.

Scott Bradley of Saunders & Associates holds the listing.

Baldwin, who has spent recent years navigating public and legal scrutiny surrounding the 2021 “Rust” shooting, is also the subject of an upcoming documentary, “The Trial of Alec Baldwin,” tracking the short-lived involuntary manslaughter case that was dismissed after three days of testimony in New Mexico.
