“As much as I love these holiday movies, and I do, I think they’re a little problematic because they give people the unrealistic expectation that during the holiday season, they’re just going to bump into some prince at their job or walking down the street,” the comedian, 61, said.

As Colbert finished his statement, Harry, 41, came onto the stage, saying that he thought he was walking into an audition for “The Gingerbread Prince Saves Christmas in Nebraska.”

The Invictus Games founder then asked Colbert what a real prince had to do to “get into a Hallmark movie.”

The TV host asked Harry if he had “any connections to any famous TV actresses?”

“I might know one,” Harry said, referring to his wife, former “Suits” actress Meghan Markle.

“But I’ll do anything. I’ll record a self-tape, I’ll fly myself to an audition. I’ll settle a baseless lawsuit with the White House … all the things you people in TV do!” the duke jokingly said.

When Colbert joked that he “didn’t do any of those things,” Harry hit back, “Maybe that’s why you’re canceled.”
