“I don’t want them in our country, I’ll be honest with you,” he said, adding that the United States could “go the wrong way if we keep taking in garbage into our country.”

Ana Navarro was the first to accuse Trump of specifically targeting “immigrant groups” during Wednesday’s (Dec. 3) broadcast.

“He does this over and over again. And he likes to do it particularly with immigrant groups that come from poor countries that are a majority black or brown,” she said. “This is a president who is a bully, a president who likes dog whistles, a president who likes to divide and have a target. This time, it’s the Somalis.”

On The View, Sunny Hostin said it was important to call out Trump’s “discriminatory language.”

“I think we need to call a thing a thing,” she said. “The president of the United States is using racist language.”

She continued, “He’s using discriminatory language. He is targeting an entire group in a discriminatory way, again and again and again. When do we, as Americans, say being a racist or using hateful racist language is unbecoming of the office of the President of the United States?”

This isn’t the first time the ladies of The View have called President Trump out for spreading harmful rhetoric.

Navarro recently accused Trump of stoking political violence after he called for the “death” of Sen. Mark Kelly on social media. During a recent broadcast of The View, Navarro said Trump’s statements were “so irresponsible” in light of the death of Charlie Kirk.

“We were all told to bring the rhetoric down,” she said at the time. “Well, the rhetoric needs to go down starting from the top. If Donald Trump is doing this, he needs to be the first to set an example.”

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
