The surveillance footage, timestamped at 6:23 a.m. on Nov. 8, shows Terra managing to break free momentarily and soon after the two move from the camera’s view.

The dog is still in the frame.

Terra said the attacker then threw her to the ground.

“That’s when he hit me,” Terra said.

A male bystander heard her screams for help and pounced on the homeless attacker.

“He was on top of the guy and just hitting him in the head over and over,” she said.

The assailant then fled.

“It’s scary to think he’s still out there,” said Terra.

By the time the police arrived, the homeless man was long gone.
