Caitlin Clark is injured again


Caitlin Clark is out with a left groin injury and will not play for the Fever in their matchup with the Sparks on Thursday, the team announced.

The All-Star point guard recently returned from a quad injury, which sidelined her for five games — and had been going through a three-point shooting slump, specifically on the road.

Clark went 3-of-13 shooting in the Fever’s 94-86 win over the Storm in Seattle on Tuesday.

The Fever signed point guard Aari McDonald the next day after releasing DeWanna Bonner.

The Fever (7-7) host the Sparks (4-11) at Gainbridge Fieldhouse on Thursday, before they’re back on the road to face Paige Bueckers and the Wings in Dallas on Friday night.
