Rihanna wears Balenciaga dress with feather hat and leather gloves at 2025 Gotham Film Awards

Rihanna’s latest look exudes high-fashion luxury.

Stepping onto the red carpet at the 2025 Gotham Awards in New York City on Monday night, the singer stood by partner A$AP Rocky’s side wearing a custom Balenciaga look.

The gown was crafted using a luxurious pink silk. It was shaped to form a bubble silhouette that cascaded into a long train via a drop waist, hiding Rihanna’s pale pink satin sandals beneath.

Designed by Pierpaolo Piccioli, the look was a bespoke version of a strapless dress that walked the runway just two months ago in Paris as part of the design house’s spring 2026 collection.

While the voluminous shape was statement enough, Rihanna went even bolder with a pair of opera-length black leather gloves and a pink feather cap that matched her overall look. The hat was shaped like a traditional baseball cap with a short brim.

Around her neck was an oversized necklace from Bulgari’s Color High Jewelry Collection. Named the Midnight Riviera Necklace, it features diamonds, kunzite and tanzanite in rich hues of pink and purple.

This is only the 37-year-old’s second red carpet appearance since the birth of her daughter back in September.

This date night, however, was worth dressing up for, as A$AP was nominated for Breakthrough Performer.

The rapper chose a classic black Chanel suit for the evening.

Though their joint red carpet appearances are infrequent, the couple has been enjoying coordinated date nights lately, twinning in Paris, wearing both leather coats and fur jackets this past month.
