Alleged co-conspirator in Palm Springs fertility clinic bombing died in federal custody by jumping to his death from prison’s upper level: report



The suspect in the Palm Springs fertility clinic bombing who died in federal custody this week jumped to his death from an upper level of the California prison where he was locked up, according to a report.

Daniel Park, 32, was found unresponsive at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Los Angeles early Tuesday, the Bureau of Prisons said.

Sources have since told TMZ the Seattle man is believed to have stepped onto a table and then plunged to the ground floor of the facility.

It wasn’t clear how many floors he fell.

Park was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead, the Bureau said.

The inmate had been facing conspiracy charges for allegedly shipping explosive materials to Guy Edward Bartkus, the bomber who died in the May 17 explosion at the American Reproductive Centers clinic.
