Kris Jenner debuts Anna Wintour-style bob haircut for holidays

Kris Jenner is ready for Wintour.

The momager rang in the start of the holiday season with a post showing off a blunt bob and bangs — a look uncannily reminiscent of Anna Wintour’s signature ‘do.

“Thankful 🫶🏼 I hope everyone had the most amazing Thanksgiving filled with love! 🙏🏼🦃♥️” she captioned the series of photos on Instagram, tagging daughter Khloé Kardashian, 41.

In the snaps, the 70-year-old mother of six wears Ralph Lauren’s floor-length satin halterneck dress ($3,750) in a festive forest green beneath a matching cable knit cardigan.

Kardashian strikes a pose next to her mom in a black turtleneck mini dress, accessorized with burgundy leather gloves and matching stiletto pumps. Both women wear gold statement earrings that coordinate with the twinkling holiday decor.

In a separate carousel of photos shared on Khloé’s Instagram, Jenner perches on a chair holding a frosty martini glass, her eyes shielded with dark sunglasses. It’s another apparent homage to the longtime Vogue editrix, whose designer shades are a near-permanent fixture, worn both outside and indoors.

Wintour and the Kardashians have a complicated history. The editor reportedly kept the family out of the Met Gala for years before Kim Kardashian attended in 2013 as then-boyfriend Kanye West’s plus-one. The following year, Wintour put Kim and Kanye on the April 2014 cover of Vogue, ahead of their May wedding, cementing Kim’s transformation into a fashion heavyweight.

The Kardashian-Jenners have since become Met Gala fixtures.

Wintour’s iconic bob is the stuff of fashion legend; she reportedly hasn’t changed the style since she was a teenager.

“I’ve had many hairdressers over the years and I can’t remember how long I’ve had this haircut for,” Wintour told Rihanna in a 2019 video for Vogue. “The one time I tried to change, it was a disaster. I had to wear a hat for several months. So I’m way too anxious and too lazy to try it again.”

Jenner, meanwhile, has cycled through an array of styles this year alone, swapping her piecey pixie for face-framing curtain bangs and voluminous chin-length waves. She even went platinum blonde, albeit only briefly.

“I wore that black pixie for so long, you know, I couldn’t look at it anymore. I’m sure my kids are excited that I tried something new,” Jenner joked at an event with hairstylist Chris Appleton.

The Wintour bob seems to be Jenner’s annual winter look: she debuted a very similar style last Thanksgiving, posing for photos with Khloé and her two children, True and Tatum.
