Shedeur Sanders will see another week as the Browns’ starter.

Head coach Kevin Stefanski confirmed following Cleveland’s 26-8 loss to the 49ers that Sanders would be the team’s starter for Week 14.

The 144th pick in the April draft had helped lead the Browns to a win the week prior in his first NFL start in Las Vegas as the roller coaster ride of a start to Sanders’ pro career.

“I’d have to look at it. Obviously, he’s battling, like all of our guys are battling,” Stefanski told reporters after the game. “I know there’s plays he wants back, but we’ll look at it and correct them.”

Sanders did throw a 34-yard touchdown pass to Harold Fannin Jr. in the second quarter that gave the Browns an 8-7 lead, with the help of a converted 2-point attempt.

Stefanski called the TD play “well-executed.”

The Browns head coach wouldn’t say whether Sanders would be the starter from here on out, though, when asked about it by reporters.

ESPN reported previously that the Browns had been open to the idea of allowing Sanders to continue to play in order get a longer look at what he’s able to do.

“Obviously we lost, so I ain’t play well,” Sanders told reporters. “There’s definitely things on film I’m going to look back and want to get back and want to see but at least moving forward I know what we could do differently going about the week and being able to get fully, fully prepared for every possibility.”

At 3-9 this season, Cleveland is surely looking forward for the franchise, and it seems the club is will to take a look at what they have in Sanders.

The Browns will face the 1-11 Titans next weekend in Cleveland.
