Dad of 10-year-old girl missing since June reveals ice-cold holiday confrontation with her jailed mom

The fretting father of a missing Florida girl revealed the cold-hearted response her jailed mother gave when pressed for answers about where she is.
“She showed anger,” said Gordon Terrelonge, who visited his daughter’s mother, Paasha Davis, in Broward County jail on Thanksgiving.

“I was hoping that maybe, you know, she would care, that you know she’s out there and everyone’s worried, you know?” he told NBC 6 South Florida.
Gordon claims he hasn’t seen his 10-year-old daughter, Gabby, since around May when the three of them were living together in an Orlando-area motel.
The family were transient and sometimes homeless, and Davis suffers from schizophrenia.
But Gordon and Davis got into a fight before she left the motel with the girl. The family had been struggling, with a judge ordering Gordon to keep away from Davis two months prior, WESH 2 reported.
Then in October Gordon learned Davis had been arrested for shoplifting — and that nobody seemed to know where their daughter was.
Gordon reported Gabby missing on Oct. 29, and Davis was arrested again days later for child neglect without great bodily harm.
Davis and Gabby were seen getting onto a bus together on June 20, but by July 7 the mother got onto another bus without her daughter.
But Davis has refused to cooperate with authorities — claiming only that she gave the girl back to her father around July.
Gordon, however, insists he had nothing to do with his daughter’s disappearance, and even passed a police polygraph test, according to NBC 6.
“I don’t know how she’s not worried by her being in a dangerous situation and not saying anything, that wouldn’t make sense to me, and it still doesn’t, but you know, we live in a crazy world, who knows?” he told the outlet.
And he hoped a jailhouse visit on the Thanksgiving holiday might have been the thing to get some answers from the mother he remembers as a doting caregiver — but he was proven wrong.
“I went there to try to get answers because I mean, I don’t really understand the holidays right now because things are not right,” he said.
“It actually ruined the day for me, to be honest, it was, like, terrible.”
