Bebe Rexha is a Met Gala girly!
The “Born Again” singer, 35, made her debut at fashion’s biggest night at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 5. Rexha wore a Christian Siriano black coat and grand tulle skirt paired with fishnet gloves.
The Met Gala theme is “Superfine: Tailoring Black Style,” also the museum’s spring 2025 exhibition, which explores “the Black dandy as both a concept and an identity signifier.”
In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Rexha said that when she thinks of dandyism, she thinks of “structured jackets.” On working with Siriano, she said the designer “always nails the assignment” and “always makes me look good.”

The Met Gala’s dress code for this year is “Tailored for You,” a nod to the exhibition’s focus on menswear and suiting.
Colman Domingo, A$AP Rocky, Lewis Hamilton, Pharrell Williams and Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour co-chaired the 2025 edition of the event. LeBron James was an honorary chair but announced he could not attend due to a knee injury sustained at the end of his NBA season.
For the first time since 2019, the Met Gala appointed a host committee alongside its chairs, which includes major names like Ayo Edebiri, Doechii, Janelle Monáe, Usher, Tyla and more.

The last time Rexha was spotted on the red carpet was at the 2024 BMI Pop Awards in Beverly Hills, Calif. The “I’m Good” singer wore a spaghetti-strap halter corset dress that she paired with a black choker and black open-toed heels.
Rexha opted for a wet-look hairstyle with an exaggerated sidepart. As for her glam, the singer wore a sultry smoky cat eye, bronzed cheekbones and lined lip.
Rexha’s fashion really runs the gamut. In April 2023, she celebrated the launch of her third album Bebe by wearing an all-pink look. She rocked a strapless sequin jumpsuit with a cinched waist, a matching belt and fluffy pink coat. She added some edge to the flirty look with a pointed-toe heel and white stiletto nails. She even rocked pink hair, which she styled loosely with a center part.

At the 2023 MTV Video Music Awards she wore a cheeky black leather dress. It was detailed with spaghetti straps and a bullet-bra bustier, however the “Meant to Be” singer saved a surprise for the back of the dress.

When she turned on the pink carpet, she sent jaws dropping with a cutout on each butt cheek and, in between them, a silky black horse tail.

The gown was designed by the Uncommonist, an anonymous designer who has created similar looks for Julia Fox and Rita Ora.
Her shoe of choice was a Piferi platform pump that she accessorized with eye-catching bling — silver and green tassel earrings, chunky crystal bracelets on each wrist and silver rings on her fingers.

At the 2019 Met Gala, Kris Jenner was mistaken for the pop singer when she attended the event with her blonde bob. Jenner wore a black jumpsuit with a sweetheart neckline and a star pendant for the “Camp: Notes on Fashion” theme. Over the jumpsuit, Jenner wore a dramatic ruffled coat with exaggerated shoulders.
Rexha didn’t mind the comparison one bit. “Bet you didn’t know I could be in two places at once,” she wrote on X. “I was in Nashville last night recording my next album and in New York at the Met Gala at the same time. In all seriousness, kris Jenner is a bad ass women who created an empire. It’s a compliment. Love you guys.”
