White House Shuts Down Ana Navarro’s Claims On ‘The View’ About The Epstein Files, Calls Her A “Trump Derangement Syndrome” Liberal

The White House has once again spoken out against The View for criticizing the Trump administration.

This time, they’re coming for longtime co-host Ana Navarro, who recently chalked up the administration’s controversial response to the newly released Jeffrey Epstein files as “white, rich, powerful, entitled men protecting other white, rich, powerful, entitled men.”

In a statement to Entertainment Weekly, White House spokesperson Abigail Jackson labeled Navarro, who is a registered Republican, a “TDS liberal,” using the abbreviation for “Trump Derangement Syndrome.”

“Like all TDS liberals, Ana only cares about the Epstein files because she thinks she can weaponize it against President Trump,” the statement reads. It goes on to claim that Navarro “didn’t care about Epstein during [Joe] Biden’s presidency.”

“Liberal outlets are desperately trying to use this Democrat distraction to talk about anything other than Democrats getting utterly defeated by President Trump in the shutdown fight,” the statement concludes. “We won’t be distracted, and the entire administration will continue fulfilling the promises the President was elected on, including Making America Affordable Again.”

During Wednesday’s broadcast of The View, Navarro called for more files to be released for the sake of the victims. “We as a country, our legal system, our institutions, our leaders, we’ve failed those victims time and time again,” she said, adding, “We cannot fail them now.” 

The White House has attacked Navarro before after she criticized Alligator Alcatraz and President Donald Trump’s immigration policies on the show.

“This is not about going after the criminals and the gang members, this is about making America white again and otherizing everybody who is an immigrant,” she said on The View in July.

Jackson did not mince her words in her response to Navarro’s statements at the time.

“Every time you think Ana Navaro [sic] can’t get any dumber, she proves you wrong,” Jackson said in a statement to EW. “The real ‘horrible human beings’ are the violent illegal criminals being held at Alligator Alcatraz, including murderers like an illegal alien who slit the throat of an elderly woman in Florida and set her house on fire.”

“No one who has any interest in facts or logic should pay attention to whatever Ana is spewing on TV because it’s probably wrong or stupid or, most likely, both,” Jackson stated.

The View airs on weekdays at 11/10c on ABC.
