‘Landman’ Season 2 on Paramount+ and More

It’s hard to narrow down the biggest titles out on streaming this weekend, there are too many great ones to choose from. First, there are TV premieres, like The Beast in Me and Landman, and the Christmas comedy A Very Jonas Christmas Movie. On the unscripted side, the complete third season of The Secret Live of Mormon Wives also dropped on Hulu this week. Oh, and Richard Linklater’s latest film, Nouvelle Vague, an homage to French New Wave, is here. Really, the weekend isn’t long enough to cram all these titles in.

New Movies & Shows To Stream This Weekend: The Beast In Me, A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, Landman + More

Claire Danes and Matthew Rhys star in the new Netflix thriller The Beast In Me; all 8 episodes of the series dropped on the platform Friday. On Paramount+, get ready for a new season of Landman, Taylor Sheridan’s soapy drama about the oil industry; season two premieres Sunday. And on Disney+, the holiday season is kicking off with A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, a fun road trip comedy starring Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas, with appearances from the rest of their family, including their wives and kids.

In The Beast In Me, Claire Danes plays author Aggie Wiggs, who has turned lonely and reclusive since the death of her son. Aggie becomes intrigued by her mysterious new neighbor, real estate mogul, Nile Jarvis (Matthew Rhys), who was a suspect in his wife’s disappearance. Soon Nile becomes Aggie’s dangerous obsession as she dives deeper into his past.

When Nick, Kevin and Joe Jonas become stranded in Europe after a tour (with only two days till Christmas), they need to use all of their brotherly bonds to find a way home for the holiday. A Very Jonas Christmas Movie, out Friday, is a solid family Christmas comedy that features cameos from stars like Will Ferrell, Andrew Barth Feldman, K.J. Apa, Randall Park and Chloe Bennet.

New on Paramount+ November 16: Landman (Season 2)

Taylor Sheridan’s Landman is back on Paramount+ for season 2 this Sunday. Billy Bob Thornton returns as Tommy Norris as he navigates life among the wealthy oil barons of West Texas. The new season also stars Demi Moore, Andy Garcia, Sam Elliott, Ali Larter, Jacob Lofland, and many more. New episodes will drop weekly on Sundays.
