Who Is Virginia Giuffre? ‘Surviving Jeffrey Epstein’ and ‘Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy RIch’ Documentaries

House Democrats have released a trove of documents and emails from the Jeffrey Epstein‘s estate that reveal key information about the late sex offender’s sex trafficking operation and alludes to President Donald Trump’s possible knowledge of his crimes.

In one newly released email that was sent April 2, 2011, Epstein writes to his convicted accomplice, Ghislaine Maxwell, “i want you to realize that that dog that hasn’t barked is trump. [VICTIM] spent hours at my house with him .. he has never once been mentioned.”

White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt claimed to TIME that the unnamed victim mentioned here is the late Virginia Giuffre, who has been open about the abuse she endured under Epstein’s control ever since Maxwell recruited her when she was 16 years old, working at Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

Leavitt wrote in a statement to TIME, “The Democrats selectively leaked emails to the liberal media to create a fake narrative to smear President Trump. The ‘unnamed victim’ referenced in these emails is the late Virginia Giuffre, who repeatedly said President Trump was not involved in any wrongdoing whatsoever and ‘couldn’t have been friendlier’ to her in their limited interactions.” The statement alludes to Giuffre’s posthumous memoir Nobody’s Girl: A Memoir of Surviving Abuse and Fighting for Justice, in which she wrote that she met the president in 2000. “Trump couldn’t have been friendlier,” she wrote in the memoir.

Leavitt’s statement continues, “The fact remains that President Trump kicked Jeffrey Epstein out of his club decades ago for being a creep to his female employees, including Giuffre. These stories are nothing more than bad-faith efforts to distract from President Trump’s historic accomplishments, and any American with common sense sees right through this hoax and clear distraction from the government opening back up again.”

Giuffre died by suicide in April 2025, just weeks after reportedly surviving a life-threatening car crash that left her with injuries so severe, doctors said she had “days to live.” She was a mother of three and an outspoken advocate who detailed her experiences in the documentaries Surviving Jeffrey Epstein and Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich.

“Virginia was a fierce warrior in the fight against sexual abuse and sex trafficking. She was the light that lifted so many survivors,” her family said in a statement, per People. “Despite all the adversity she faced in her life, she shone so bright. She will be missed beyond measure. The light of her life were her children Christian, Noah, and Emily.”

How to stream Surviving Jeffrey Epstein and Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich:

In the 2020 Lifetime documentary Surviving Jeffrey Epstein, Giuffre detailed her encounters with Prince Andrew, who has since been stripped of his royal title and now goes by Andrew Mountbatten Windsor. “Andrew deserves to be outed. He deserves to be held accountable,” Giuffre says in the doc. “He participated in a sex trafficking operation with one of the most prolific sex trafficking operators in the world in modern time.”

She also opened up in the Netflix documentary Jeffrey Epstein: Filthy Rich about what she witnessed while she was being trafficked. In one case, she alleged that Epstein had been gifted three 12-year-old girls for his birthday.

“I would say it was a good year into, you know, our relationship, our knowing each other, and he was laughing about the fact that his friend sent him three 12-year-old girls that he had purchased from their parents,” she says in the documentary.
