While Whoopi Goldberg expressed her hopes to have Behar—who was last seen on The View on Friday, Nov. 7—back at the Hot Topics table for this morning’s broadcast, she was noticeably replaced by Ana Navarro for the third morning in a row.

For the third day in a row, Behar was not seated at the Hot Topics table. Unlike previous episodes, Goldberg finally shared this morning why the longtime co-host has been missing all week. “Joy is out because she hurt her foot, and hopefully, she’ll be back here tomorrow,” she said once she settled into her seat at the top of the broadcast.

No, Behar was not fired from The View. While she was previously relieved of her co-hosting duties back in 2013, she was rehired in 2015 and has remained part of the cast ever since.
