For the cover photo, stylist George Cortina took a more classic approach, putting the actress in a crisp white Ralph Lauren shirt paired with blue jeans and a collection of vintage Southwestern silver and turquoise accessories by Vicki Turbeville, including a hefty belt buckle and cuffs on each wrist. Her tousled blowout was done by her longtime stylist, Chris McMillan.

The actress expressed her admiration for her “Morning Show” character, Alex Levy: “Not that I want to be a mean, badass bitch, but there’s something about it.” Zoey Grossman/ ELLE Magazine

The December 2025/January 2026 cover story finds Aniston reflecting on her evolution from America’s sweetheart to Hollywood power player.

When asked which of her characters she relates to most, “I would probably say Rachel, except my family had no money growing up, and she did,” she told the magazine when asked which character of hers she relates to most.

She sees Alex Levy, her character in “The Morning Show,” as aspirational. “I love her! Not that I want to be a mean, badass bitch, but there’s something about it,” she continued.

The Emmy winner also opened up about boyfriend Jim Curtis, the hypnotist and transformational coach she’s been linked to since July and made Instagram official earlier this month.

“He’s quite extraordinary, and helps many, many people,” she told the magazine. “He’s very special, very normal, and very kind, and wants to help people heal, move through their trauma and stagnation into clarity. It’s a beautiful thing to commit your life to.”

Looking ahead, Aniston is developing a new version of “The Big Chill” with producing partner Kristin Hahn and is set to star in an Apple TV+ series inspired by Jennette McCurdy’s best-selling memoir “I’m Glad My Mom Died.”

The Elle shoot took place at the iconic Chateau Marmont and was photographed by Zoey Grossman.
