Olivia Munn wears totally sheer black off-the-shoulder Nina Ricci gown to Baby2Baby Gala in West Hollywood

Olivia Munn is the latest celebrity to embrace the sheer dress trend. The comedian and mother of two donned a see-through off-the-shoulder gown for Saturday night’s Baby2Baby Gala, leaving little to the imagination.
She looked completely stunning in a black silk chiffon gown from Nina Ricci; the dress’ wispy layers reveal a pair of black briefs underneath.

The French-designed look features a casual, bohemian flair, with an elongated off-shoulder ruffle top and bows on both sides.
In keeping with the look’s breezy, boho vibe, Munn’s long beachy waves were parted in the middle and cascaded down her back.
She wore little jewelry aside from a tribute to the late Jane Goodall: Brilliant Earth’s Jane Goodall Pavé Olive Branch lab Diamond Necklace ($7,000). Proceeds from the collaborative collection are donated to support the Jane Goodall Legacy Foundation Fund.
Munn shared her look in a carousel on Instagram, including a video and images from multiple angles that showed her Nina Ricci bag and slingback heels.
The gown debuted on the runway this fall during the spring 2026 shows at Paris Fashion Week.
Munn attended the Baby2Baby event not only as a longtime “Angel” supporter of the cause, but also as a presenter, standing on stage alongside Kerry Washington to introduce Co-CEOs Kelly Sawyer Patricof and Norah Weinstein.
Founded in 2011, Baby2Baby provides essential items to children in need, reaching over 1 million recipients worldwide. The gala raises money to aid the cause not only financially, but also by raising awareness.
Black floor-length gowns seemed to be the most popular choice for the event’s red carpet, with celebrities such as Lizzo, Serena Williams, Jessica Alba, Leslie Mann and more opting for the classic wintery hue.
Dakota Johnson, Mia Goth and Rita Ora are just a few of the celebrities who have stepped out in totally sheer dresses in these past few weeks.
When asked about negative comments surrounding her see-through sartorial choices, Johnson remarked, “I really don’t care.”
And she’s not alone in the sentiment; these elegant A-listers are proof that if you’ve got it, it can be chic to flaunt it.
