Nick Offerman isn’t sure how he landed ‘gorgeous’ wife Megan Mullally

After 22 years of marriage, Nick Offerman still can’t believe how lucky he is to have landed wife Megan Mullally.
“I wake up in the mornings and I look like something’s butthole,” he told Page Six exclusively at the premiere of the Netflix miniseries “Death by Lightning” earlier this week. “And I look over, and Megan looks like a baby fawn designed by Pixar.”

“Like, first thing in the morning when you’re supposed to look like a crouton, she looks so gorgeous, and so I then run downstairs and do the dishes, and do my best to get her to keep me around for another day,” he continued.
The “Parks and Recreation” alum, 55, who married Mullally, 66, in 2003, also referred to his wife as “fabulous.”
“I’ve been crunching the numbers. … I believe she’s the top level of fabulous,” he joked.
Offerman plays President Chester Arthur in “Death by Lightning,” a historical drama that follows the story of President James Garfield. Arthur took over as President of the US after Garfield was assassinated by Charles Guiteau in 1881.
“The Last of Us” alum admitted he knew very little about Garfield and was only familiar with Guiteau from when he built the stage for the 1990 musical “Assassins.”
“The story of Garfield and Chester Arthur was all new to me,” he noted.
Offerman, a woodwork enthusiast, also has a book out titled “Little Woodchucks: Offerman Woodshop’s Guide to Tools and Tomfoolery,” which offers instructions on woodworking projects for kids.
It’s a subject that he is passionate about.
“I grew up in a family where we all learned how to make things with our hands,” he explained. “In the kitchen … we make and mend our own clothing, we build, you know? It’s a farm family so we make our living tactically with our hands.”
Offerman added he believes corporations and tech billionaires “want nothing more than for all of us to go to our room, isolate ourselves and live life through our screens.”
“I don’t want any companies to do any thinking or driving for me,” he shared, stressing that we need to focus less on screens and more on people.
“I want my clumsy mammalian voice to continue to earn my living and to get myself kissed by my wife and love my family,” he continued. “My iPad can’t be affectionate, and that’s the most important thing — our affection.”
