The SEC portion of the Aggies’ schedule has not been the most challenging, but they’ve scored marquee wins over LSU, Florida and Auburn, while also dispatching Notre Dame in Week 2.
There’s no questioning the legitimacy of the Aggies this season, but that doesn’t necessarily make them a good bet against Missouri on Saturday.
The Tigers are getting 6.5 points at home.
Texas A&M vs. Missouri odds, prediction
No. 19 Missouri still has an outside chance at making the College Football Playoff.
The Tigers would need to run the table against A&M, Mississippi State, Oklahoma and Arkansas, and that may not even be enough depending on the out-of-town scoreboard.
That may seem like a daunting task, but Missouri does have the chops to pull it off.

It wasn’t that long ago that a trip to the SEC Championship was out of the question for Mizzou.
The Tigers started the season with five straight wins, but a three-point loss to Alabama slowed their roll. Missouri responded by beating Auburn on the road, but lost another one-score game, this time to Vanderbilt, in its last outing.
Those are two very forgivable losses, especially if Mizzou can find a way to upset Texas A&M.
Mike Elko is known as a throwback coach who wants to build his team around a physical, unrelenting defense, but its Texas A&M’s offense that has been driving the bus.
Quarterback Marcel Reed is a legitimate Heisman candidate and is the type of game-breaker that drives defenses nuts. He certainly has a mistake or two in him, but Reed’s dynamic skillset keeps plays alive better than just about anyone in the country.
Betting on College Football?
He will be facing a very tough defense Saturday night.
Even if it comes in losing efforts, Missouri’s defense has done enough to give the Tigers a chance to win.
Their last outing saw them hold Diego Pavia and Vanderbilt to just 17 points, and they kept Ty Simpson and Alabama to just 4.3 yards per play.
A repeat of those performances should allow Missouri to keep Texas A&M within its sights.
