Who Won ‘The Great British Baking Show’ 2025?

Netflix‘s The Great British Baking Show was unusually calm in 2025. There were no crazy controversies or ugly scandals. There were no upsetting eliminations or offensive jokes. In fact, even the competition was pretty staid. 23-year-old medical student Jasmine Mitchell spent the entire 2025 season of The Great British Baking Show steamrolling the competition, sucking a lot of the tension out of the tent.

Just last week, Jasmine nabbed her fifth Star Baker honor, tying for all-time wins with 2014’s runner up Richard Burr. You read that right. The only other baker to win as many Star Bakers as Jasmine never actually won the whole darn thing. In fact, many past favorites fell apart in the final, letting a dark horse scoot by them for the ultimate win. Would the same happen to Jasmine? Could anyone beat the brainy bald beauty to win that coveted cake stand??

So did Jasmine win The Great British Baking Show? Or was she undone by her own hype? Were rival bakers Tom Arden and Aaron Mountford-Myles able to squeeze out a final win in the Bake Off tent? Did anything exciting happen in The Great British Baking Show finale?

Who Won The Great British Baking Show 2025?

Well, the inevitable happened! Jasmine Mitchell won The Great British Baking Show 2025.

Ironically, Jasmine’s one fumble all season took place during The Great British Baking Show finale. Judge Prue Leith asked the remaining bakers to make a tower of white chocolate and lemon Madeleines and Jasmine straight up did not know how to bake the iconic French treats. Even after trying two different batters, she failed to produce a hump on her cookies. Jasmine wound up landing in third and final place for the Technical, offering Tom and Aaron the smallest of windows to leap ahead. At one point, Tom’s flawless Showstopper table cake looked like it just might clench him the win.

Nevertheless, Jasmine won it all.

As both Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith explained, her freakish consistency needed to be rewarded. Evidently, Jasmine was never, ever, in consideration to be eliminated during the season. The judges even suggested Jasmine might be one of the all-time best bakers to enter the tent!

For what it’s worth, neither Tom nor Aaron seemed sore about Jasmine’s win. Tom embraced her immediately after the announcement, noting, “It was always you!” Aaron gushed about how much she deserved it.

The Great British Baking Show 2025 ended with a montage catching us up on where all the bakers are now, revealing that Jasmine also aced her med school exams and went on holiday with several other bakers to celebrate.

So, yes, duh, Jasmine won.
